Competition explanation
What is Sports Chanbara?
Sports Chanbara is a simple and clear sport in which participants hit each other with airsoft swords, which are soft and safe and filled with air, and the winner is the one who hits their opponent's body with their sword.
Currently, there are over 1,300 university students playing sports chambara, and over 90% of them started playing at university. This makes it a very challenging sport, as new players starting at university can immediately go on to compete in the All Japan and World Championships.
There are no restrictions on clothing, movement, or sword swinging, so you can use your own imagination and create your own unique style.
The offense and defense, in which a variety of techniques are used to decide the outcome in an instant, is very deep, and the more you play, the more you will never get bored.
